We are seeking a confident, skilled, enthusiastic, and motivated Paediatric Physiotherapist to join the Children and Young Peoples Therapy Service (CYPTS).
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy, enhancing integrated working across disciplines. Each locality team is led and supported by a dedicated Team Manager, ensuring a supportive and dynamic working environment.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of children aged 0 to 19 years, with a range of conditions including developmental, neurological, musculoskeletal, and other health needs. This will involve conducting physiotherapy assessments, creating treatment programmes, and developing intervention plans. A key aspect of the role is understanding the complex long-term medical, social, and learning needs of this patient group, with particular awareness of SEND and Education and Healthcare Plans. Based within the Bridgwater team, you will be part of a larger CYPTS team of 10 WTE physiotherapists across four area teams countywide, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based practice and equitable service provision.
