Join Our Team as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a dynamic school in High Wycombe. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to make a meaningful impact on pupils' education by collaborating with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and targeted support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead small group sessions and interventions, adapting materials to meet the diverse needs of learners.
* Assist class teachers in assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback.
* Supervise and support pupils during lessons, break times, and extracurricular activities.
* Prepare classroom resources and create vibrant displays to enhance the learning environment.
* Provide cover for class teachers during short-term absences or PPA time, ensuring high-quality teaching continuity.
Requirements:
* HLTA qualification or substantial experience covering primary classes in the UK.
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in a primary school setting.
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and educational frameworks.
* A positive, proactive attitude with excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of the school environment.
