Are you an experienced Recruitment and/or HR Assistant looking for a new role with flexible hybrid working in Derby? As a Recruitment & HR Assistant, your role is varied and requires someone who is proactive with excellent attention to detail and can work with stakeholders and the wider people team to deliver the People Strategy. Duties include:
1. Working directly with hiring managers to create role profiles and write captivating adverts
2. Screening and shortlisting candidate applications
3. Assisting with candidate interviews, both virtually and in-person
4. Ensuring a positive candidate journey for all applicants by keeping in regular contact and providing feedback
5. Issuing contracts of employment
6. Assisting with maintenance of the careers page
7. Supporting with new starters and leaver processes
8. Assisting the wider HR team with any employee enquiries relating to contracts, pay reviews, bonus, package negotiations, and any other ad hoc enquiries
This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours Monday to Friday with flexibility on start & finish times and hybrid working - 3 days on site. Please note this is a 12 month FTC role and we need candidates to be able to start no later than the beginning of March 2025.
For this role, we are looking for candidates who have experience across the recruitment lifecycle from profile building & advert writing through to interview, offer management, and onboarding, as well as experience working in HR Administration. You will have experience in stakeholder management and be computer literate with ATS/CV databases and HRIS.
As a person, you will be proactive and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, allowing you to multi-task and effectively prioritize and time manage.
