Job Description:
Protocol Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Design Technology (DT) Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Cramlington. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and support students in developing practical and creative skills in a well-resourced DT department.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging DT lessons across KS3 and KS4, inspiring a passion for creativity and technical skills.
Plan, prepare, and assess student work, ensuring high standards of learning and achievement.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the DT curriculum and develop exciting project-based learning opportunities.
Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment, following health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong subject knowledge in DT, with experience in areas such as Resistant Materials, Graphics, or Product Design.
A commitment to promoting inclusivity, creativity, and hands-on learning experiences.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
