Pay: From £11.44 p/hour Job Summary: The Mobile Response Driver is a crucial member of the Zam FM security team, responsible for patrolling designated areas, responding to alarms and incidents, and providing a visible security presence. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent observation skills, sound judgment, and the ability to act quickly and effectively in various situations. Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular patrols of Zam FM premises and designated areas in a company vehicle, acting as a visible deterrent. Respond promptly to alarm activations, investigating the cause and taking appropriate action, including liaising with emergency services when necessary. Attend to security incidents such as break-ins, vandalism, or disturbances, assessing the situation and taking necessary steps to resolve it or escalate as required. Provide first-response support in emergency situations, such as fires, medical incidents, or other urgent events, offering assistance and coordinating with emergency services. Secure and maintain Zam FM premises, including locking/unlocking and ensuring all security systems are functioning correctly. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patrols, incidents, and other activities, providing timely reports to the Security Manager. Conduct keyholding duties, providing access to authorized personnel as needed. Interact with Zam FM staff and members of the public in a professional and courteous manner, providing assistance and information. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations. Maintain the company vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition. Essential Skills and Experience: Valid SIA Licence (Door Supervisor or Close Protection). Valid UK Driving Licence with a clean record. Proven experience in a security role, preferably as a Mobile Response Driver or similar. Excellent observation and surveillance skills. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good knowledge of the local area. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
