Leigh Academy Hugh Christie is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicatedStudent Services Managerto join our thriving team. This exciting role focuses on providing exceptional pastoral support to our Sixth Form students, ensuring they are not only academically successful but also emotionally supported as they navigate their final years of secondary education.
As a Student Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Year 12 and Year 13 students within our expanding Post-16 provision. You will be responsible for ensuring students receive the appropriate guidance and support to thrive both academically and personally. This will involve fostering positive relationships with students, parents, carers, and external agencies to create a nurturing environment where students can excel.
Your work will directly contribute to enhancing student attendance and overall well-being, providing a holistic approach that helps students achieve their full potential. You’ll be part of a passionate and supportive pastoral team, working closely with leadership to drive the success and welfare of our students.
Our ideal candidate will have experience working with secondary-aged students and be skilled in buildingexcellent working relationshipswith a variety of stakeholders, both within the academy and with external agencies. We are looking for someone with apositive, proactive mindset, who is always willing to go the extra mile to support our students and make a real difference in their lives.

The basis of the role is permanent, 35.5 hours per week, Term Time + 1 weeks inset, offering an actual salary of £20,139 to £23,352 per annum (£24,404 to £28,297 full-time equivalent) based on experience.
