Programme Finance Manager (International Youth Charity, Flexible working options)
Salary: £40k per annum
Civitas Recruitment are excited to be partnering with a great international charity based in London who focus on developing the entrepreneurial spirit of youth through a network of partners. An exciting opportunity exists for a Programme Finance Manager to join the team. As Programme Finance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the financials that underpin the charity's programmes and projects are transparent and robust. It is a full-time or part-time role (12-month fixed term contract), home-based with travel to the Central London office as required.
Who are we looking for?
1. Experience in a comparable role, with demonstrable evidence of successfully managing similar scale international programme funding.
2. Experience and understanding of finance systems and tools in an NGO context.
3. Ability to understand the charity’s audience and analyse data, delivering information in a clear and user-friendly manner.
4. Ability to influence and persuade people with limited finance understanding and work with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
5. Advanced Excel skills and comfort in producing reports and working with large data sets.
6. An interest in youth, entrepreneurship, or microfinance would be a bonus, however this is not essential for the role.
7. Having an accounting qualification or working towards a relevant finance qualification would be desirable.
