Job Description
Job Purpose:
To assist in the successful execution of equipment jobs and projects, including surveying, servicing, installation, etc. To provide exceptional customer service to our industrial and commercial customers and support our existing customers, as well as the broader company team with matters pertaining to engineering plant and equipment.
Areas of Responsibility:
* Ensure all Health and Safety procedures are adhered to.
* Deal with customer queries and ensure works are progressed to agreed expectations.
* Complete site log books to agreed specifications.
* Carry out engineering plant and equipment servicing, maintenance, and support duties in line with company procedures.
* Perform engineering plant and equipment installation, maintenance, and commissioning.
* When required, carry out cleaning and chlorination duties for contract customers throughout the UK, in accordance with best practice and legislation.
* Conduct routine field-testing duties for contract customers throughout the UK, in accordance with best practice and legislation.
* Assist with RAMS for plant/equipment tasks as and when required.
* Provide quotation support with plant/equipment jobs.
* Assist consultants and clients in surveys as required.
* Ensure that all admin processes, including site service reports, schedules, and time sheets, are completed, submitted, and communicated in a timely manner.
* Attend all courses, seminars, and training sessions as deemed necessary.
* Communicate any relevant findings to the appropriate team members.
* Complete reports on the company systems (including Konformance, Velapity, MS-365) and photo reports to a high standard and on time.
* Carry out pre-work risk assessments to a high standard and ensure all paperwork is correct.
* Maintain all equipment provided to the necessary requirements to undertake appropriate standards of service.
* Be presentable and work in a professional manner at all times.
Note: Engineering plant and equipment includes but is not limited to water softeners, filtration, reverse osmosis, chemical dosing and control, chlorine dioxide.
