Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with Roofing Industry experience to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strategic mindset to identify new opportunities and foster relationships with potential clients.
Duties
* Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve company growth objectives.
* Manage Social Media, particularly LinkedIn.
* Identify and engage with potential clients through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
* Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for expansion.
* Collaborate with the sales team to align business development efforts with sales goals.
* Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients, showcasing our products and services.
* Utilise CRM software to track leads, manage client interactions, and report on progress.
* Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable partnerships.
* Monitor industry developments and adjust strategies accordingly to remain competitive.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in business development or a related field, preferably within the roofing industry.
* Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.
* Proficiency in using CRM software is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
* Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* A degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field is preferred but not essential.
