Job Description:
The main responsibility is to profitably manage assembly line and tooling projects through the on-site engineering teams and the Ascent Integration support staff.
1. Project Leadership: Take full leadership of the project definition by structuring and managing the PBS, WBS, and industrial plan of the project in line with a clarified scope of work. Organize the project deliverables and secure expected performance through verification and validation plans.
2. Schedule Management: Be responsible for the project schedule by managing it with the teams and organizing project milestones.
3. Profitability: Maintain full project profitability by creating and updating budgets to secure and grow margins. Monitor customer invoices and supplier spending.
4. Team Management: Define, motivate, and manage project teams, including work package leaders, technical leaders, designers, PMO, and site coordinators.
5. Customer Relations: Act as the customer focal point to manage satisfaction, interfaces, communications, and contractual deliverables, tracking them with company metrics.
6. Contract Management: Oversee the project contract by checking delivery scope, schedules, quality, and specifications.
7. Scope Management: Ensure full capture of up-scopes by documenting and negotiating effectively with the customer.
8. Project Activities: Organize project management activities such as risk analysis, data collection, deliverable tracking, quality documentation, and site organization.
9. Quality and Human Management: Ensure full compliance with Ascent Integration processes and methodologies.
10. Business Development: Contribute to developing the local supply chain and new local business opportunities.
Qualifications: At least 5 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in the aerospace sector or similar environments, is required.
