What does our successful Finance Assistant look like? Highly motivated, detail-oriented with a proven track record working in Finance, and a strong of history of dealing with high payment volumes and responding quickly and accurately to client requests. Experience outbound calls to clients with missing payments is also desirable. They have a blend of skills - keen analytical abilities, high attention to detail and accuracy, A positive team player, empathetic and supportive towards others, and able to work autonomously. Passionate about ensuring accuracy of own work, and collaboratively supporting both their own team and those in the wider business. Previous track record within an FCA regulated Finance team and familiarity with financial services and the FCA regulations a plus but not essential. The Role The banking department of the Pure Finance team is responsible for dealing quickly and effectively with client payments, reacting to client queries and supporting our Care Team and Customer Service colleagues in dealing with client queries. We also manage credit control for client payments Key Responsibilities: Allocating client payments from multiple payment platforms to invoices Active management of cheques and Bank Giro Credits Reviewing and Credit Control of the Aged Debtors, including calls to clients where applicable Dealing with Pre-need queries and daily monitoring of the Pre-Need mailbox Accurately processing cancellations and refunds in reaction to client requests Responsible for assisting with monthly reconciliation of Pre-Need accounts Assisting with the reconciliation of suspense accounts Other Ad hoc tasks Our Benefits Generous 30 days holiday plus bank holidays Bupa Health Cash Plan Life Assurance Company Pension, or option for SMART Pension.
