Aspire has a variety of teams delivering psychosocial interventions to individuals with substance misuse issues. The teams specialise in parental substance misuse, criminal justice, outreach, group work, early intervention, assessments, and provide services in community hubs.
The successful candidate will provide management to staff in the group work and early intervention teams and support the development of practice across the service.
If you have relevant experience in the substance misuse field, a relevant degree (e.g., psychology, sociology, social work) or Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent, and a L3 Substance Misuse and ILM L5 in Leadership & Management, we would like to hear from you.
If you are experienced by working in the field but do not have the formal qualifications, we provide a comprehensive package of accredited qualifications and for newly qualified Social Workers, we support the ASYE programme.

Main Duties of the Job
The successful candidate will lead the group work and early intervention teams and support the coordination of the volunteers and peer mentors. They will provide supervision and conduct appraisals for the team and support the Service Practice Lead to develop practice across these teams and the wider service.

It combines the strengths of both NHS provision under the leadership of a consultant with the strengths of the voluntary sector provided by ADS. Job Responsibilities
To provide all aspects of management support for a range of projects and associated contracts and budgets. To develop the practice and management of a defined service area (department). To be responsible for the clinical governance to the Aspire Executive Committee.
