SITE AGENT- Permanent Opportunity
DIVISION: CIVIL ENGINEERING
LOCATION: Reading, UK

As a Site Agent, you will be responsible for driving forward the construction phase of project, whilst managing and controlling all project resources. Strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to develop key relationships with both operational personnel and supply chain partners.
A full driving licence is essential for this post, as is a valid CSR/SAFEP.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in a similar position with a main contractor.
Typical duties will include:
1. Manage engineering team including Site Engineers, Section Engineers & Foreman
2. Ensure all Health and Safety procedures are being complied with
3. Ensure that all aspects of the project are effectively monitored and controlled
4. Deliver project within programme and budget Manage and monitor subcontractors
5. Liaise with client and designers
6. Attend monthly progress meetings and compile monthly reports
7. Manage Quality & Environmental plans on site
8. Introduce improvements and innovations where appropriate
9. Control contract costs
10. Ensure work is delivered in accordance with the specification
11. Take part in and deliver a Safety Culture with the entire site team
