Digital Marketing (Paid Media) Executive

As a Digital Marketing Executive focused on paid search and social, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and optimisation of campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Bing, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Affiliate and other digital marketing channels. Your role will directly impact brand awareness, customer acquisition, and lead generation – vital areas of a growing e-commerce and sales business.
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you will collaborate closely with the wider marketing and e-commerce teams, to align campaigns with broader marketing goals and brand strategies.
Location: Solihull – B37 (Hybrid – 3 days office based)
Responsibilities:
1. Planning, executing, and managing paid search campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads and Bing, ensuring performance aligns with KPIs.
2. Developing and optimising paid social campaigns across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest, tailored to specific target audiences.
3. Supporting on acquisition channels such as affiliate marketing and third party lead generation sites.
4. Conducting in-depth keyword research and audience segmentation to maximise ROI for paid campaigns.
5. Continuously testing and refining ad creatives, copy, and landing pages to improve campaign performance.
6. Monitoring and analysing campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and Data Studio, providing regular insights and recommendations for improvement.
7. Understanding campaign budgets effectively to ensure optimal allocation of resources and ROI.
8. Staying updated on trends, platform updates, and best practices in paid search and social to maintain a competitive edge.
9. Collaborating with the wider marketing team to ensure campaigns are aligned with overall brand positioning and marketing objectives.
10. Providing detailed performance reports and insights to stakeholders, offering actionable recommendations to enhance results.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in managing and optimising paid search campaigns on platforms including Google Ads and Bing Ads – minimum two years agency or in-house.
2. Expertise in paid social advertising across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.
3. Experience in retail/e-commerce is preferential, but not essential.
4. Solid understanding of key metrics such as CPC, CTR, ROAS, and conversion rates.
5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
6. Proficiency in analytics tools, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Data Studio, and platform-specific tools like Facebook Ads Manager.
7. Familiarity with audience targeting, retargeting, and lookalike audience strategies.
8. Experience in A/B testing for ad creatives, copy, and landing pages.
9. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.

Details:
37-hour contract, Monday to Friday. Hybrid – 3 days office based.
