DevOps Engineer: Ageas is seeking an experienced and result driven DevOps Engineer to work as a part of a cross-functional team, with hands on experience as DevOps engineer working within the organisation’s software development lifecycle. This role heavily focuses on day-to-day technical DevOps aspects to deliver faster and safer continuous high-quality software to business.
Main Responsibilities as DevOps Engineer:
1. Take ownership of creating and maintaining exiting CI/CD solutions to meet build, test, release and deploy & security requirements.
2. Manage and perform application build, package and software release management process to deploy to all environments
3. Hands on proven experience in developing standardised, automated build & release processes to support agile delivery methodology.
4. Define, create & manage application software code branches to support application branching approach. Experience with source code management system git is essential.
5. Liaise with 3rd party vendors for application support pertaining to DevOps and production deployment.
Skills and experience you need as DevOps Engineer:
6. Demonstrable experience (at least 5 years) as a DevOps Engineer. Experience with EIS policy admin system will be highly desirable.
7. Proven experience and knowledge with wide range of DevOps toolchain – Jenkins, Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Git / GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, Selenium.
8. Experience with cloud technologies – Azure Kubernetes, App Services, Azure Functions etc. and proficiency in managing cloud-based infrastructure.
