Your new companyWe have an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing facility, working on a double-day shift pattern Monday to Friday.Your new roleWorking with an experienced engineering team you will be responsible for providing a responsive engineering service to the site operations team to ensure high levels of machine availability, efficiency and reliability.You will work to a maintenance plan, following a schedule for part replacements, improvement projects and general preventative maintenance. You will respond to any breakdowns with urgency, restoring machine availability and managing root cause analysis to reduce downtime. You will check for faults on electrical systems including Siemens S5 and Allen Bradley control systems and repair and replace large mechanical components, working safely and adhering to site health & safety policy at all timesWhat you'll need to succeedYou will be apprenticeship trained or HNC qualified in electrical engineering and experienced in both electrical and mechanical maintenance, ideally with manufacturing background, you will be experienced in fault-finding, have knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
