This role sits within our Stafford based Group Company, Wave 9 Managed Services Limited, who are a specialist telecommunications and internet service provider focused on delivering high-quality internet and internet safety solutions to the UK Education sector. The Role:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our team. Acting as the essential link between our sales team and project office, your primary responsibility will be to ensure all customer and supplier information is captured, accurate, and available so that service delivery can progress smoothly and efficiently.
There will be the opportunity to develop your skills to take on more tasks around customer quoting for contract renewals and new business and/or move towards project delivery.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing order to fast-paced environments, thrives on detail, effective communication, and takes pride in making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
What you'll be doing:
* Primarily providing administrative support to the Sales team for the processing of orders and post-sale customer communication.
* Ensuring customer purchase orders are received.
* Preparing the order for handover into the project office, ensuring all the customer and supplier information is present.
* Setting up project tickets.
* Obtaining supplier quotes.
* Acting as an initial post-sale point of contact for the customer, providing an excellent first impression.
* Answering calls into the Sales and Project Teams
* Requesting and managing Supplier Quotes / Deal registrations with key vendors.
* Liaising closely with all relevant departments to provide updates on any order/order amendments.
* Supporting pipeline and forecast management, updating opportunities with progress to the point of sale.
* Assisting with renewal quotes and progressing prior to the contract expiry.
* Processing orders, including raising procurement requests and ensuring all relevant documentation is in place.
* Gathering, recording, and maintaining customer contact information.
* Assisting with the execution of marketing initiatives.
* Assisting with customer and billing queries where appropriate.
What we're looking for:
* Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role.
* Experience or an interest in the IT or Telecoms sector would be beneficial but is not essential.
* Experience of working with Hubspot would be advantageous.
* Experience of working with vendor tools, for example, Cisco Commerce Workspace, or equivalent, would be advantageous.
* Customer Service focused.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to prioritise and manage multiple activities, without direct supervision in a fast-paced environment.
* A team player with a high level of dedication.
* Ability to recognise and work to tight deadlines.
