Job Title: Clerical Officer
Location: Sheffield Teaching Hospital
Hours: Monday – Friday between 9am – 5pm. Rota basis
Trust Location: Glossop Rd, Broomhall, Sheffield S10 2JF & Herries Road S5 7AU & Woodside Rotherham S60 2TZ

What you’ll be responsible for:
1. To ensure reception is adequately manned at all times during office hours.
2. To maintain the patient filing systems.
3. To receive service users/visitors at reception in a polite and courteous manner, identify their needs and inform appropriate members of the multidisciplinary team.
4. To receive and relay all messages in the agreed format promptly and accurately.
5. To input data onto dedicated OH computer systems.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
1. An in-depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times.
3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
1. Previous clerical experience.
2. Previous experience of working within an admin background.
3. Previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong IT skills.
5. Good communication skills.
6. Reception duties.
