I am working with a large hospitality organisation on the outskirts of Kings Lynn to recruit a Social Media Content Coordinator who will play a key role in the planning, creation, and execution of their social media strategy. This position is responsible for developing engaging content across multiple platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media trends, audience engagement, and the ability to create and manage compelling content that aligns with our brand's voice and goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Creation & Planning:
1. Develop, edit, and curate high-quality content (text, images, videos, infographics, etc.) for all social media platforms.
2. Create and manage a content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting.
3. Work with internal teams to develop multimedia content, ensuring it aligns with campaign goals.
4. Generate new ideas for content that engages audiences, promotes brand awareness, and supports marketing initiatives.
5. Monitor and stay up-to-date on the latest trends in social media, adjusting content strategies accordingly.
2. Social Media Management:
1. Maintain and grow the company's social media profiles and presence, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others as necessary.
2. Engage with the audience in real-time, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and friendly manner.
3. Monitor and analyze social media performance using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social, and provide reports on key metrics such as engagement, reach, and conversions.
4. Implement best practices to ensure content is optimized for each platform and audience.
3. Collaboration & Coordination:
1. Coordinate with external partners or influencers to create co-branded content or promotional posts.
2. Assist in community management by identifying and engaging with relevant social media influencers and users to help build a stronger online presence.
4. Strategy & Reporting:
1. Assist in developing and executing social media strategies that align with the overall marketing and business goals.
2. Prepare monthly reports to track the performance of social media campaigns and share insights to improve engagement.
3. Analyze competitor social media activity to identify opportunities for improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
1. Experience:
1. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in social media content creation, management, or a related field.
2. Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, etc.) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.) is a must.
2. Skills:
1. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
2. Creativity and a keen eye for detail.
3. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
4. Familiarity with social media management tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
5. Strong understanding of social media trends and audience behaviors.
6. Graphic design skills and experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) is a plus.
3. Education:
1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience working with paid social media campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.).
2. Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and influencer marketing strategies.
3. Experience in managing social media accounts for brands in [specific industry].
Working Conditions
