As Junior IT System Administrator for Marlowe Compliance Services, you will be working with our IT Team. You will be responsible for providing Infrastructure support and administration for users at Marlowe Compliance Services in the UK. As well as working on projects to move to our new Infrastructure environment in Azure. Joining a UK leading business in testing and compliance services. You will be joining the business at an exciting time, you will be helping to transform the existing infrastructure organisation from on-prem to Cloud. You will be working on supporting the existing legacy systems, as well as helping with the move to a new set-up including cloud and Azure platforms. This position reports to the Group IT Operations Manager for Marlowe Compliance Services & will be based from our office in Fazeley, Tamworth for a minimum of 3x days per week & the rest of the week from home. Requirements Key Duties as Junior IT System Administrator: Handle 1st/2nd/3rd line support requests and provide desk-side and remote assistance. Set up, maintain, and decommission on-site networks, servers, and infrastructure. Support internal users with hardware/software issues and ensure high customer care. Assist in system integrations, improvements, and Azure migrations. Provide technical troubleshooting, upskill 1st-line support, and monitor backups. Work hybrid from Tamworth (3 days/week) with travel to UK/Ireland sites as needed. Essential Skills: Proficient in ticket logging, remote management, and monitoring processes. Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V). Familiar with remote application support (Azure AVD, RDS, SSL VPN). Awareness of networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS). Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Azure, Office 365). Experience with Samsung/iOS MDM, strong problem-solving, and communication skills. Beneficial Skills: Experience with cloud technologies (Azure/AWS) and firewall management (SonicWALL). Remote management and patching using N-central’s N-able product. Mobile Device Management via Sophos MDM / Intune. Familiarity with governance frameworks (ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials). Professional certifications (Cisco, Microsoft, Checkpoint, VMware, ITIL). Passion for technology and continuous learning. Benefits Salary up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
