Vertu BMW Admin Hub to be based at BMW Sunderland
We have an exciting opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join us in our BMW Admin Hub here at Vertu Motors BMW Sunderland! We are offering up to 30 hours per week working between 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, but working pattern can be discussed at interview if you are wanting to work fewer hours! We are offering a basic salary of up to £19,200 depending upon skills and experience, plus a fantastic range of company benefits.
As our Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will support the Accounts function in all aspects of dealership accounts. Day to day your responsibilities will be to:
1. Process high volumes of invoices.
2. Match, batch, scan, code, and file all invoices, statements, and remittances.
3. Reconcile supplier statements.
4. Process monthly payment run.
5. Deal with any invoice discrepancies and any ad-hoc duties as and when required.
6. Assist in processing colleague expense claims and aiding in the preparation of management accounts.
To be considered for this role, the candidate must have previous experience working within a purchase ledger capacity. You will be an excellent communicator and have the ability to work well under pressure. Experience of using Kerridge is preferable but not essential for this role as full training will be provided.
