Your primary responsibilities will include preparing monthly management accounts for multiple entities, assisting in budgeting & forecasting activities, leading the month-end close process, producing detailed financial reports for senior management decision-making, managing intercompany transactions across global entities, tracking key financial metrics for performance improvement, assisting with year-end audit preparations, identifying opportunities for process improvements within the Finance team, and supporting various finance projects. Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements for multiple entities. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, providing analysis on variances and trends. Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accurate accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations are completed in a timely manner. Produce detailed financial reports and analysis to support senior management in decision-making. Manage intercompany reconciliations and recharges across global entities, ensuring compliance with group policies. Track key financial metrics, analyse variances, and provide actionable insights to improve financial performance. Assist with year-end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors as required. Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and drive efficiencies within the Finance team. Support various finance projects, including system implementations, process automation, and financial modelling. What you bring: The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant position will bring a wealth of experience from previous roles. You should have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and be part-qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA). Your strong understanding of accounting principles will be essential for success in this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software are also required. Your strong analytical skills will enable you to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must, as you will be working with stakeholders at all levels. Attention to detail is crucial in this role, as is the ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
