Job Opportunity: Quality Assurance Manager

Role Overview:
We are representing a leading manufacturer with a strong global presence, seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join their team in Lytham St Anne’s. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensuring adherence to quality standards within a dynamic, well-established organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the management representative for Quality, developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO9001:2015.
2. Report QMS performance and KPI results to top management, and liaise with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders on quality matters.
3. Train and motivate staff to adhere to QMS standards, ensuring all activities comply with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
4. Oversee daily interactions with colleagues, line management, and senior management, ensuring ethical practices and compliance with the Environmental Management System.
5. Lead by example in quality and professionalism, and manage internal and external audits, addressing non-conformances and promoting continuous improvement.
6. Develop and execute audit plans, ensuring timely resolution of findings and promoting ISO9001:2015 and customer-specific requirements throughout the company.
7. Manage and guide the quality team, recognising and addressing training needs while supporting best practices in health, safety, and environmental management.
8. Create and manage budget requirements to meet financial objectives and support initiatives to reduce non-value-added activities.

External: Customers and suppliers as applicable.
Internal: All personnel at various levels.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Education: Preferably degree educated in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
2. Experience & Training: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Quality Manager role or a significant quality position, with a strong background in QMS. Experience with PPAP is advantageous. A background in manufacturing is essential.
3. Skills and Knowledge: Audit training.
