About the Role Starting in January 2025, you will be responsible for teaching Food Technology across various year groups, fostering a love for the subject and helping students develop essential culinary skills. You’ll have access to modern teaching facilities and support from a collaborative team, committed to delivering high-quality education. Key Responsibilities
* Planning and delivering engaging Food Technology lessons
* Developing students’ practical skills and understanding of nutrition, health, and food science
* Preparing students for GCSE assessments (if applicable)
* Contributing to the school community, including events and extracurricular activities related to Food Technology
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
* A strong background in Food Technology, Home Economics, or a related subject
* Passion for teaching and inspiring students in practical and theoretical aspects of food
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* A commitment to the school’s ethos and the ability to work well within a team
