Campus Services, Catering – University of Surrey
We are looking to recruit a Chef de Partie to work with the Campus Services Catering team. You will be part of the team providing a fantastic food and drink offer for the students, staff, and public. Upon appointment to the role, you will assist in delivering a current food offer that provides creativity, quality, and innovation.
We expect you to interact regularly with the students, staff, and visitors who enjoy our food – and to work with the chef Culinary Lead to develop new ideas, concepts, and food innovations to maximize sales.

The ideal candidate will:
1. Ensure that cooking and presentation of food is to a consistently high standard
2. Ensure food production and time schedules are achieved when required
3. Assist in the development of Kitchen Assistants
4. Input new ideas and food styles
5. Have experience in high-volume food production
6. Be able to work under pressure
7. Understand customer needs in relation to the business
