Job Description Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer required to join a growing engineering manufacturer of water treatment of products and services. The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance on compressed air equipment at customer sites across the South of the UK. The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer will ideally have a service background in engineering. Full product training provided. Experience with products such as filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, valves, and pumps. motors, rotating equipment, or similar compressed air-related would be highly advantageous. An engineering background looking at mechanical or electrical products would be ideal. The Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of water systems, waste water stations, pump systems and stations for both the industrial and commercial sectors. Maintain, repair and install air compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air and pneumatic equipment. Installing pump products into all forms of the manufacturing industry. Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment. Liaise with various engineering departments. Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Requirements Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical / mechanical engineering systems. ideally compressed air-related products. Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer / Electromechanical Engineer or similar. The ability to maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new customers. Good working knowledge of three-phase electrics and controls is advantageous. F ield service background in the water industry or strong electromechanical experience in filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, valves, pumps. motors, rotating equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, industrial, mechanical engineering or similar transferable products. Full product training provided. A technical engineering degree or apprentice training would be advantageous. Willingness to travel South UK and occasionally work out of the workshop near Aylesbury when required.
