The role
will include:
1. Working with regional leadership teams, you will support the delivery of key financial targets, helping to define the strategic direction of the business.
2. Taking ownership of the P&L, getting into the detail of the numbers and questioning teams where applicable
3. Lead budgeting and forecasting, helping to identify opportunities for growth
4. Looking to improve systems and processes
5. Present key findings to teams, senior managers and wider business execs
6. Play a key role in the finance function, supporting on projects
What you'll need to succeed
We are ideally looking for a qualified accountant but could consider someone that is studying or would class themselves as qualified by experience. You should have prior experience in a commercially focused role, and it would help if you have managed a team. You should be able to work in the office close to Bath 3 days per week and the rest can be worked from home. We are looking for someone that can start in the next 4 weeks to do a handover with the current incumbent.
