Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for aBand 3 Support Worker full time ( ) fixed term contact 12 months within the Early Intervention for PsychosisTeam. The service addresses the needs of people aged 14-65 who have recentlyexperienced a first episode of psychosis or aged 14-35 who may be at risk ofdeveloping psychosis.
As part of the multidisciplinary team, you will provide person-centred support toservice users usinga recovery-informed approach. You will work to promote independence, connectservice users with the community, and increase wellbeing. You will play a key role in empoweringindividuals to achieve personal goals and foster recovery.
The role is based in Hereford, however,involves community working and covers the whole of the county. Therefore, youmust be able to meet the travel requirements of the job.

Main duties of the job
The duties of the support worker are varied, and based on therecovery goals of the people you are supporting. Some of the main duties mayinclude:
1. Organising and running physicalhealth clinics
2. One-to-one work supporting peopleto engage in their local community
3. Anxiety management, behaviouralactivation, and graded exposure work
4. Supporting or leading groupspromoting recovery
5. Providing input into MDTdiscussions
6. Linking in with other Trust andcommunity services
7. Supportingthe wider team with ad hoc tasks
