Site Engineer - Ipswich
Are you a skilled and experienced Site Engineer with a strong background in waste water treatment and civil works?
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented individual to join our team in Ipswich, working on a challenging and rewarding project involving the construction and commissioning of a new waste water treatment facility.
About the Role:
As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of this project. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting the Project Manager in overseeing the construction of the waste water treatment facility.
* Ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and time lines.
* Managing the construction of civil works elements, including earthworks, drainage, and site preparation.
* Supervising and coordinating the work of sub-contractors.
* Monitoring the progress and quality of construction activities.
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Preparing and maintaining site records and documentation.
About You:
* Proven experience as a Site Engineer on waste water treatment projects.
* Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
* Knowledge of waste water treatment processes and technologies.
* Experience in managing sub-contractors.
* Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A relevant degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
* Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. ICE) is desirable.
