Group Financial Accountant - ContractFull Time – Hybrid working and extremely flexiblePaying £55 - 60k PermanentKey responsibilities of the Group Financial Accountant:
* Managing the group consolidation process and preparing Group consolidated financial statements, ensuring IFRS compliance
* Conducting cashflow modelling and drafting board papers for the audit committee on key accounting areas
* Serving as the main contact for external auditors, ensuring timely information flow
* Preparing consolidated monthly board packs, including balance sheet and cashflow analysis
* Drafting group accounting policies related to new and amended standards
* Engaging in ad hoc project work to support the business
Key requirements for the Group Financial Accountant:
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with a minimum of two years PQE
* Strong understanding of IFRS standards; experience with auditing or preparing statutory accounts is desirable
* Practical experience or strong understanding of group consolidations
* Analytical with high attention to detail and strong Excel skills
* Clear communicator, able to present complex data understandably
* Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
