About the Role:
Stamford College is seeking a passionate and skilled Photography Lecturer to join thier team for two days per week, starting in August 2024. You will be responsible for teaching students at Levels 1 to 3 in Further Education (FE), inspiring and guiding them to achieve their full potential in the creative field of photography and video production.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in photography and video production to students at Levels 1 to 3 FE.
* Develop and implement curriculum plans and assessments in line with college standards.
* Provide support and guidance to students, fostering a positive learning environment.
* Stay updated with industry trends and integrate them into teaching practices.
* Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and other college activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Relevant qualification in Photography, Video Production, or a related field.
* Teaching qualification desirable, but not essential. A willingness to work towards a teaching qualification is required.
* Experience in teaching or training is preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students.
