Band 3 Senior Health Care Assistant Medical and Surgical Outpatients
Have you considered nursing in Outpatients?
The Main Outpatient Team would welcome applications from Health Care Assistants who enjoy working independently and within a team to provide patient-focused care. This is a part-time role of 24 hours per week over three days. The shift pattern will vary over these days to meet the demands of the service.
The successful candidate will join a well-established team and will need to be flexible and adaptable, a good team player with the ability to work well on their own initiative, and willing to take on a variety of duties while maintaining attention to detail.
Within this role, there are numerous learning opportunities. We offer a supportive working environment and are committed to the development of our staff.
We ask that candidates applying for this post have a current NHS Care Certificate and a Health and Social Care Qualification at Level 3 with current secondary care experience.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept those who need sponsorship to work in this role due to government guidelines. Previous applicants need not apply.
Main duties of the job
Highlighted below are some of the nursing skills needed for a fast-paced working area such as Outpatients:
