Due to my clients' continued expansion and growth, they have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Architect/Architectural Technologist to join their team. My client provides expert witness services and designs and manages construction projects that are tailored to the needs of disabled individuals.
Your new role
In this role, you will be required to:
1. Oversee and manage the architectural department.
2. Utilize AutoCAD / Caddie software on a daily basis to produce high-quality drawings and designs.
3. Work across the RIBA stages of work with a focus on the technical stages.
4. Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, local planning authorities, and building control.
5. Work on a variety of projects for disabled clients.
6. Prepare packages and make submissions familiar with Technical Building Design and Building Regulations.
7. Prepare specifications of works for tender issue and project running.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, it is essential that:
1. You are CIAT or RIBA qualified.
2. You have experience working in the residential sector.
3. You have strong proficiency with AutoCAD.
4. You possess strong communication and team-working skills.
