The Lincolnshire Good Home Alliance is a ground-breaking project working to improve the housing condition, health & wellbeing outcomes for residents across Lincolnshire.
As part of a pilot, funded by Lincolnshire County and District councils, the Good Home Alliance is work with housing, health, and social care partners and other organisations to identify housing condition issues, provide advice on available options and deliver practical support to enable people to stay safe, warm and well at home.
While hosted by East Lindsey District Council, this new role will take referrals from and provide advice and support to residents across Lincolnshire.
As a new county-wide service working across the housing, health and wellbeing sectors, the Alliance welcomes applications from a wide range of professional backgrounds with a proven track record of managing a caseload in related Housing, Health, Social Care, Consumer affairs, Energy advice, or other associated fields.
The successful candidate will need to be a dynamic team player who can demonstrate their ability to research, identify, connect and implement innovative housing solutions.
Ideally they will have an understanding of relevant housing legislation, policy and grants and be confident in supporting colleagues to embrace new ways of working.
What we need from you:
Previous experience within a relevant area of work
Understanding of links between housing, health and social care, particularly for vulnerable groups
Good knowledge of building construction, traditional house construction techniques and maintenance solutions
A successful track record of working with members of the public, vulnerable groups and multi-agency working
Open minded to alternative forms of service delivery
Possession of a driving licence and means of travel

ABOUT US: Boston Borough Council, East Lindsey District Council and South Holland District Council have formed the South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership. The largest Council Partnership in the country. Since October 2021, the Partnership Councils have been working closely to deliver improved services to the communities in the sub-region and already there have been many positive outcomes.
