Job Description
* Managing and overseeing the payroll system to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Liaising with various departments to collect and verify payroll information.
* Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering employee queries regarding payroll.
* Preparing financial reports related to payroll for higher management.
* Ensuring all payroll transactions adhere to policies and regulations.
* Assisting with audits and reviews of payroll records.
* Maintaining confidentiality of payroll information.
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of payroll procedures.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Officer should have:
* A solid understanding of payroll procedures and best practices.
* Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with various departments.
* A background in accounting and finance is advantageous.
* Proficiency in relevant payroll software.
* An ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
