Regional Sales Manager – On Trade Scotland West (including Glasgow, Loch Lomond, Ayrshire) Alexander Steele is delighted to be working with an award-winning premium spirits business to find a skilled and dynamic Regional Sales Manager to join their on-trade team following a period of great growth and success. The role will focus on the West Coast of Scotland including Glasgow and Ayrshire and will report to their Head of On-Trade. On Offer: Up to £40k base salary Up to 20% bonus Among other benefits Key responsibilities: To drive their portfolio of on trade focused SKUs in independent, free trade customers and smaller regional MPO (Multiple Pub Operator) groups across the West Coast of Scotland. Growing an account database to circa 120 key accounts in the area, actively searching for new business opportunities for our brands and maintaining existing customers. Delivering new distribution across these accounts on the businesses core range of whiskies, gins, and champagne and to be the face of the brands in your territory. Ensuring contracts are in place for key customers and volume is delivered and pulled through via local and national wholesale customers. Gaining menu inclusion and pouring status within these customers for our portfolio of brands especially for Champagne PIAFF. Developing annual promotional calendars with key customers to deliver activity in line with brand focus months. Forming close partnership with these accounts and supporting strategic key local and regional events to drive brand and consumer awareness. Working with key route to market sales representatives in the area to aid mutually beneficial working relationships. Delivering against key on trade KPIs set within the financial year to deliver brand growth and profit targets. Among other responsibilities. Experience and skills required: A motivated, enthusiastic, and driven attitude is required to achieve success in your area. Very much a self-starting role with support from the Head of On-Trade. A good knowledge of the UK on trade either from a trade or supplier background. Demonstration of delivering new business opportunities and maximising these for the benefit of volume and profit. Knowledge of the UK wholesale network and how to best maximise this for the benefit of your area. Excellent presentation skills and ability to use PowerPoint, Excel and other mediums to deliver this. Field based preferably in and around the Glasgow area to ensure that you are at the heart of the city and regularly seen within accounts. Regular travel within your area to ensure that all opportunities and job requirements are met.
