An opportunity has arisen for an experienced pharmacist to join the education and training team at University Hospitals Dorset (UHD). The established team comprises an Education and Training Manager, a Lead Pharmacy Technician responsible for Rotational Pharmacy Technician training, and two Deputy Lead Pharmacy Technicians responsible for the pre-registration trainee pharmacy technician training. This role will involve cross-site working at both Poole and Bournemouth hospitals, and requires a dedicated pharmacist to support the Education and Training Manager improve, adapt and future-proof the UHD pharmacy workforce. You will provide a clinical pharmacy ward service across UHD, maintaining your own clinical skills whilst mentoring junior pharmacists on the wards. We are developing working relationships with Bournemouth University, with one of our pharmacists recently having experience of the role as Lecturer Practitioner for under graduates (nursing).
