We are looking for a Year 1 Teacher who can deliver the national curriculum in a way that is engaging, fun, and tailored to SEN students. If you are tired of the same old routine in mainstream schools, this role offers the freedom to teach creatively, adapting lessons to suit the individual needs of your class.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver play-based, interactive lessons that cater to the needs of high-functioning SEN pupils.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that encourages creativity and exploration.
Work closely with Teaching Assistants and support staff to ensure personalised learning experiences.
Use assessment data to inform lesson planning and track student progress.
Engage with parents, SENCOs, and external specialists to provide the best possible support for each child.What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
A bachelor's degree and a PGCE (or equivalent).
Proven classroom experience, ideally within an SEN or play-based learning environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with support staff and external professionals.
A passion for inclusive education and breaking away from the traditional classroom routine.Why This School?
