Prospero Teaching are recruiting for an enthusiastic Sports Studies Teacher to give lessons to Key Stage 4 students in a Secondary Pupil Referral Unit in Chorlton.
If you are experienced in leading PE or Sports Science at a secondary level, managing pupil behaviour in a PRU or SEMH setting and proactive at student engagement, then we want to hear from you!
You do not need to be a qualified Teacher for this role - but you need to be confident planning and delivering sessions up to BTEC level.
You need to be comfortable dealing with SEMH interventions and restorative practices as well as having previously taught PE. The organisation is a specialist Pupil Referral Unit who consistently liaises with the family, parents, and carers to enable the best engagement for the students.

Minimum rate of pay: Minimum rate GBP180 per day
Hours: 8:45 am - 3:45 pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
QTS, PGCE or equivalent
Previous experience working in a UK school

1. Hold Right to Work in the UK
2. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
3. Provide two professional child related references
