The Recipe
Safety is our number one priority, and working alongside our Manufacturing Site Lead, as part of the site leadership team, your role will be to promote and strengthen our existing health and safety culture. We are looking for you to have a passion, combined with HSE knowledge and ability, that will enable you to lead the health, safety, and environment agenda.
With an engaging approach and industrial experience, you will be responsible for ensuring site progress in line with the national safety agenda, measured by a combination of KPI’s, internal/external audits, and project completion. Continuous improvement is practiced across the business, and you’ll be expected to identify improvement opportunities not only in HSE but also cross-functionally.
Crucially, you will be a real team player who can build and maintain strong relationships at all levels to drive the safety and environment agenda forward. Your technical expertise will support you as the site health, safety, and environmental lead for site-specific projects/installations where you will provide advice and guidance. Due to the requirements and responsibilities of the role, we will be looking for you to hold a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent and ideally an IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management or Foundation level; however, experience of working on a permitted site or knowledge of environmental systems would also be taken into consideration.
You will also be responsible for the line management and development of a team of HSE Advisors based at the different locations.
