The Governors of Holy Family Catholic Primary School are delighted to be able to invite applications from practising Catholics to become our Headteacher. One who shares our love of learning, our Values and ambitions for our school, our children, staff and the whole school community. We are looking for an individual with the vision to build on our successes and carry this forward into the future. We wish to appoint a Headteacher who will strive to achieve the very best outcomes for all our pupils, enabling each of them to achieve their full potential.
We are a one form primary school with a nursery which offers up to 26 Full time places. We have a whole school community approach are an integral part of Holy Family Parish. We enjoy strong relations with parents and carers. The successful candidate will demonstrate ambition and drive with excellent leadership and management skills. We are committed to a Values Based approach to school life and this underpins our whole ethos in school. As a school we are part of the ‘Belong ’project which further embeds the relational to approach to behaviour and learning in our school.
Our New Headteacher will:
Be a practising Catholic with a strong personal faith and a strong commitment to the Catholic ethos of our school;
A role model who inspires and motivates others through their commitment to raising standards;
An effective, innovative and enthusiastic head who can motivate, empower and inspire colleagues and pupils;
Lead with vision, drive, compassion and empathy;
Be a leader who will foster the pupils’ enjoyment of learning whilst ensuring high levels of achievement
Will create a culture where pupils experience a positive and enriching school life where pupil voice is valued;
Have a collaborative, open and supportive style;
Have an ability to uphold ambitious educational standards which prepare pupils from all backgrounds for their next phase of education and life;
Be someone who can build respectful, professional relationships with all staff members and care for their wellbeing;
Have an awareness of and ability to manage a limited budget, ensuring that all financial decisions align with the school’s priorities and financial management policies and procedures;
A headteacher, deputy or assistant headteacher with a strong track record of effective leadership and school improvement.
Continue to maintain and promote a strong culture of safeguarding;
A role model who inspires and motivates others through their dedication and commitment to raising standards.
