We are looking for a casual Maintenance Worker to work alongside our team at West Hatch. Working hours: Ad-hoc to cover major projects, busy workload & staff absence. What a day might look like for you Here at RSPCA, we know it's a cliche but no two days are the same, as a Maintenance Worker at West Hatch, we've added a summary of what a typical day might look like. This is a flexible casual position which means we are looking for someone to undertake the role as and when work becomes available due to staff absence or during busy periods. Here's some of the key work you'll be doing: Repairs, redecoration and clearance Garden and grounds maintenance Undertake the weekly fire alarm call point testing. Checking the water treatment facility (Bio-Bubble) and changing the collection sack. Undertake the weekly water flushing of taps and hoses. What makes a great Maintenance Worker at the RSPCA? We think this is a great role and to add value we are seeking a match of these skills, but don't worry if you don't tick every box, we'd still love to hear from you. Experience in a maintenance/ handyperson/ grounds role Experience of use of a wide range of hand and power tools and the maintenance of these. Ability to prioritise your work. A full valid driving license.
