You are adept at multitasking and prioritizing, especially in managing the Mayor’s inbox and diary. You have a proactive approach, anticipating the Mayor's needs and addressing potential issues before they arise. You have strong relationship-building skills, allowing you to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders, including VIPs and community organizations. You are flexible and willing to work occasional evenings or weekends as necessary to support the Mayor's activities. What the Job Involves Providing a full Personal Assistant service to the Mayoralty, including managing official appointments and responding to invitations. Organizing and maintaining the Mayor’s diary, scheduling engagements, and ensuring logistical arrangements are in place. Managing the Mayor’s Office inbox, prioritizing messages, and ensuring prompt and accurate responses. Planning, coordinating, and delivering civic and charity events, including formal parades and fundraising activities. Identifying venues, arranging catering, and preparing publicity materials for events in support of the Mayor’s Charity Appeal. Liaising with external organizations to ensure smooth delivery of events and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships. Supporting the Members’ Services Manager and Scrutiny Lead in planning and delivering key civic and ceremonial events.
