Job Summary: Job Description: At a glance This role will be based at our Bracknell Campus. The salary range for this role is set at £29,000 - £41,500, plus a shift premium of 20%. Please note this role is 37.5 hours per week with a 2 week shift pattern. Working week 1 06:00-14:00 and week 2 14:00-22:00 including a 30 minute break. Voluntary weekend working is available depending on workload. This position is a permanent contract. Please note that you must live within 30-45 minutes from the site due to emergency call outs. You’ll be a confident communicator able to liaise with contractors, campus management teams and fellow technicians across the Waitrose site. Able to manage both preventative planned maintenance work and deal professionally with reactive calls / jobs. As part of the role you will take on the responsibility of Duty Technician and will be the point of contact for maintenance queries on a shared basis. What you’ll be doing You’ll deliver a safe environment for Partners and customers, by undertaking planned preventative maintenance and also dealing with reactive situations as they occur. You’ll be proactive, reactive, and calm under-pressure. You’ll have access to a well organised workshop space with a range of up to date equipment and a wide range of learning resources to support you in upskilling and maintaining your knowledge. Desirable experience skills and qualifications - To be able to demonstrate sufficient experience in Building Environmental & Electrical Services, Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning within the service industry.
