Joint Safeguarding Partnership Business Manager
3-6 month initial interim contract
£500 per day (umbrella)

This critical partnership role requires close collaboration between services to prevent and reduce the abuse, neglect, and exploitation of children and adults — ultimately enhancing outcomes for vulnerable individuals.
Whilst the councils looks to appoint a permanent post holder, this role will require an excellent communicator to steer the group's collaboration and will need to be at the centre of all communications to ensure the objectives of the partnership are being met.
Your duties as Children’s Safeguarding Partnership Business Manager:
1. Business manager will have responsibility for the managing and coordinating the business plan for the partnership.
2. The post holder will need to deliver against the action plan and hold to account the strategic partners.
3. Maintain the high levels of partnership engagement.
4. The council is within the time frames to prepare for a likely Ofsted or JTAI inspection.
Your experience required as Children’s Safeguarding Partnership Business Manager:
1. Ability to link in with key partners and demonstrating excellent stakeholder engagement/communication skills.
2. You must hold a Social Care qualification and have held the position of Business Manager within a Children’s Safeguarding Partnership previously.
3. Knowledge and understanding of the expectations within an Ofsted visit and ability to work at the required pace is essential.
4. Must have 2 years references and be willing to undertake a DBS check.
