Position: Counterbalance FLT Driver
Location: Wincanton, Somerset
Salary: £11.95 per for 6am and 2pm shifts, £17.49 per hour for 10pm shift
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, rotating shifts 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, 10pm - 6am
Duration: Temp to perm
Start Date: Immediate

The company
A leading company in the food production sector, renowned for their commitment to quality, safety, and exceptional service. They are expanding their operations and are in need of a dedicated FLT Operative to support the warehouse team.
The job
* Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
* Perform routine checks and maintenance on the forklift to ensure optimal performance.
* Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and maintaining accurate records.
* Organize and stack goods in the designated areas, ensuring efficient use of space.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
* Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including packing, labeling, and general housekeeping.
The requirements
* Valid Forklift License (Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck preferred).
* Proven experience as an FLT Operative in a warehouse or similar environment.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
* Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy items.
* Be adaptable, be able to work 3 shift 6-2/2-10/10-6 and the odd Saturday when needed.
