Shifts: Mon-Fri - 9am-5pm

Are you an engineering or physics graduate with an interest in scientific applications? Have you ever considered a technical sales role?
We're looking for someone who can work independently and take ownership of their tasks, even within a smaller team. You will work directly for the ECO and shadow them whilst meeting with clients and customers discussing projects and scientific data for manufacturing unique products to support their business. They need to be able to follow directions from project management while also being willing to help out other teams and colleagues when needed.
Responsibilities:
1. Handle incoming sales inquiries for standard products, providing support to distributors.
2. Support colleagues with more complex sales inquiries, including organizing meetings, taking notes, and tracking actions.
3. Draft and publish newsletters, product datasheets, and other marketing materials.
4. Organize and attend national and international conferences and exhibitions.
5. Track sales opportunities and manage the sales pipeline and manage the process until completion of contract.
6. Prepare sales and marketing activity reports for senior management.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in physics or equivalent engineering, physics or science discipline.
2. Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, both written and oral.
3. Positive, flexible, and hardworking with high standards.
4. Professional work ethic and the ability to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines.
5. Team player willing to help out outside the primary job role.
6. Proactive, responsible, confident, and customer-oriented.
7. Results-driven and a self-starter with excellent administrative record-keeping.
8. High level of attention to detail.
9. Ability to produce accurate and engaging written content.
10. Technical sales experience (preferably with a small startup company or manufacturing company).
11. Good IT skills and proficient in Microsoft Office.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
