Counter Terrorism Policing North West (CTPNW) is a five-force collaboration delivering Counter Terrorism (CT) services to our regional forces as well as forming part of the national CT Network. CTPNW's mission is to work together to keep people safe from terrorism.
We are looking for a committed and outstanding individual who can support CTPNW in achieving its mission.
This is an exciting opportunity for a methodical and organised individual with an interest in Investigations and Exhibit Management. As an Exhibits Officer within the FMT you will:
1. Support all investigations within CTPNW and the wider CT Network when required.
2. Support the SIO and Forensic Coordinator leading searches and act as a Bomb Scene Manager at Bomb Scenes.
3. Attend Scenes, Search, Record and Recover relevant exhibits as identified in the Forensic Strategy, prepare MG21's and the exhibits for transportation to the relevant Forensic Service Provider.
4. Manage exhibits from cradle to grave and record on CT Holmes.
5. Multi-agency working with scientists and experts from various fields and other emergency services.
6. Must be prepared to achieve and maintain skills for deployment in relevant areas such as License Search Officer, CBRN, and DVI.
