SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Educational Needs Classroom Support - SN15

My client is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to pupils in Key Stage 1. This role is available on a full-time basis, working on a Fixed-term contract until the end of the acdemic year with the potential for the role to turn permanent after this.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Providing one-on-one and group support to children with special educational needs.
* Assisting with individual learning plans and adapting materials to meet student needs.
* Supporting social, emotional, and communication development in young learners.
* Encouraging children’s engagement, confidence, and independence in learning.
* Participating in OPAL lunchtime supervision to promote inclusive play.
* Working closely with teachers, SEND specialists, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students.

* Passionate about supporting children with SEN and keen to develop expertise in this area.
* Comfortable with providing intimate care when needed.
* A team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Enthusiastic about outdoor learning and creative educational approaches.
