My client is a leading engineering specialist that provides solutions, maintenance, sales and hire to customers across the UK. They currently have vacancies for a proactive and qualified Welder to join the team. Responsibilities: Fabricate metal components according to engineering specifications. Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts. Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments or repairs. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Requirements: Proven experience in metal fabrication or a similar role, with at least 5 years' experience. Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metalworking processes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements. Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and equipment used in metal fabrication.2G Flat / 3G Vertical / 4F Overhead welding is required. NVQ Level 2 or Coded Cert MIG Welding 131. Hours of work: Monday to Thursday - 7:30am-4pm.
